OMG chocolate

This weekend we headed out to a local park, someone stuck some chocolate into the truck and now it has been melted into the seats and dried. I love light blue seating mixed with peppermint patty. :mmph:

I think that's a pretty common problem, since chocolate melts so fast and it's a popular road trip snack. I remember when I was a little kid I left some chocolate on the car seat and it melted. My parents weren't too happy, but they were able to get the seat cleaned eventually.

Oh, that really sucks. You MIGHT still be able to get it out, but it won't be easy! Try something like Resolve or other upholstery cleaner.

Hehe, that's one thing I hate about the heat, especially down here in Florida. There is a Super Target that is cheaper than the regular grocery store so when I see stuff like ice cream and other things that melt I can't even buy them because it is to far away as compared to the grocery store around the corner. It sucks, but it's fine when we get cool weather.

That is the problem with all these stores having great deals, unless you live close its not worth the hassle. Right now I have to sift through the lists of four stores to see who has the most things I need this week and who is worth it.

Oh no! That really stinks. Have you tried to get it off the seat yet? I would actually try to freeze it off and then scrape it. Be glad that it's a nice smell! I love mint!

I have kind of light grayish seats in my car. My cousin has two little boys who left a melted chocolate bar in my back seat. I used a spray bottle with vinegar after some car cleaner did not remove all the stain. Spot test the vinegar somewhere first and let dry just in case it fades the color of your seats. No need to trade one stain for another, so be sure to do the spot test before you spray the vinegar all over your seats.

I would definitely try shaking some baking soda on it then spraying that with apple cider vinegar. It should make the stain disappear.

I never new apple cider vinegar did such a good job, is this only for car fabrics or all of them? We have some spots on our carpet from spills, I wonder if it will work?
