If budget was not a big issue, would you select a car for its performance or durability? It would be great to have a car that can run fast, but I prefer a car that I can use for a long time.
I don't know that you have to choose. I mean, if you get a performance car and maintain it, don't run it into the ground just enjoy it's performance, it should be as long lasting as a durable car.
Actually that's a good point. Actually you can get a performance car which is durable as well. I think the car durability is less about the car itself, and more about how we maintain it.
Besides if you got a high performance car and didn't treat it right, you wouldn't have a high performance car. Remember, though, high performance also means high maintenance.
That also depends on what you consider high performance. I drive Jeeps, exclusively, because they perform and they're not afraid of speed. They take me where I want to go. They can be grungy or get dressed up. And, they're durable.
