I'm about to drive halfway across the country for the holidays. The car just had an oil change and fluid top off, and the tire pressure is good. Is there anything else I should do to the car to prepare for a long trip?
I would pack some "just in case" supplies. Make sure the spare tire is good........Jack...check....Extra oil, fluids and water.....check....Blankets and extra clothes....check. People make their own list of course, but that's pretty much mine.
Don't forget to tape emergency contact information inside the glove compartment, especially if you have young children in the car with you. If you're unavailable to respond to questions, someone needs to be able to provide information. Have a safe journey!
Yeah,i agree with your suggestion these checking are necessary for a long travel,i think you should also take some pain killers with your at any harm situation,it can help you and your family or friends.
