Road trips

Now that spring is around the corner, my wife and I are planning a road trip. We're not sure where we want to go, but we'll probably just head west and end up crossing the mountains of North Carolina or Virginia and then deciding from there where we want to go next. Where are others going on road trips before long?

At the moment, gas prices are preventing me from even thinking about a road trip. I do like the sound of yours, though. One of my favorite things is just getting in the car and letting it take me who knows where!

I just came back from a small road trip with my girlfriend and my mother. We went on a safari in the Everglades. On the way there we must have seen 30 alligators sunning themselves on the side of the canal along the road. I'd like to take a longer road trip, but it's not in the cards right now.
