Sound System Stinks

I recently bought a 2002 Durango and the previous owner put a sound system in it that absolutely stinks. I think the speakers are bad and there is no volume to it at all. My dream is a Bose but I can't afford that right now. Any suggestions for a relatively decent system that won't empty my wallet?

My wife has a new Kenwood system in her truck and I think it sounds pretty good. The dealer installed it because the stereo in the truck she wanted wasn't working properly, so I don't know how much it cost. It's got to be cheaper than a Bose though.

Kenwood and Pioneer are ok speakers. They should not cost you too much.

Thanks guys. I plan to do some comparison shopping this week and will keep the Pioneer and Kenwood in mind.

I would definitely go with the Pioneer speakers. The price is decent and they are really good, assuming you don't listen to extremely loud music.
