The new electric cars are causing a lot of energy on the new car market this year. I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there, who like me, doesn't really trust the first edition of new car models. Especially when the changes to the car are as major as switching propellant. I sometimes feel that the auto industry often uses it's fir year or so of production a little like a beta test. dopes anyone else feel that way?

I wouldn't mind being the first to drive one, if I could afford it! My thing for waiting is usually the fact that once something hits the market, it is very pricey. So maybe I am lucky that they have all of the issues worked out by the time I can afford it!

I am nervous about it and I do not know if I can afford it. At the same time people have to buy these cars to show that they are in demand. If I can get the money I am willing to be a brave, maybe stupid, guinea pig for this cause.

With cars, I think they usually test them pretty thoroughly before releasing them to the public. My reason for waiting is the same as Alexus - they cost too much. I'll probably eventually get one second-hand, if any make it to used car lots!
