Stolen car!

Ha, gotcha.

Sorry I really could not resist the prank but I gotta ask, how many others here trade off the autos to the spouse when gas prices skyrocket? Right now mine has been swiped, so instead of my awesome beastly, I have the beast truck that sucks down gas like a piggy. :suspicious:

Yes, it tends to go that way here, too. Since I don't always leave the house every day, my spouse (who does) tends to take the car that uses less fuel.

My husband drives the guzzler. He only drives to work which is about seven miles to where his truck is parked. I on the other hand have to take the kids to school which is 4 miles away but I have to make the trip twice a day. I also have to do the shopping and other errands, so I end up driving lots more.

We are similar to you CL. The wife uses the car more than I do, so she uses the less gas consuming car. I wish we could afford an electric car for her.

My husband and I both have good gas milage on our cars, but his car is a little better than mine. He drives farther than me, so he uses the car with the better gas milage. Plus, my car is safer so my dad (who bought me the car in college) wants me to drive the car he gave me.
