The highest mileage you've ever had on your car

What is the most miles you've ever put on a car? I was close to 200,000 miles once, which I thought was pretty good. I've heard that if you take really good care of some cars, they can actually last much longer than that.

The most I ever had was $179,000 and it was an Olds Cutlass. I loved that car and would have kept driving it but things were going bad all the time. I'm buying a car with 7,990 miles Saturday!

The first car I ever owned was my parents old car. The odometer was broken for the 2 plus years I drove it but it had over 365,000 on it before the odometer quit. If I had to guess it probably had close to 500,000 on it when we junked it. It still worked great but someone ran a stop sign, hit me and bent the frame so I couldn't drive it anymore.

Almost 500,000 miles is really impressive, that must have been a great car. It's a shame that someone hit it like that, but at least you got plenty of use out of it first!

The most I've gotten is around 350,000. I can't remember for sure which car that was, though, but I know it was one from the 1980s. They just don't make cars like they used to!

I had a Honda Accord that had 199,000 miles on it when I traded it in for a new car. I bought it from a neighbor for $1000 and drove it 4 years. It ran like a charm, got excellent gas mileage, and still looked great. I regret that I ever got rid of it. I always look back at that being one of my "not bright" moments.

Wow, those are pretty high. I've been nowhere near that high. My highest mileage has been 150,000, something around there. I know it's not very high. I guess I just go through cars quickly.

I never had very high mileage on any of my vehicles even though I have owned a couple of them for a long time. The longest I ever owned a vehicle was 15 years and it only had 100,000 miles on it.
