Weird ways to clean your car

I thought this (yhoo.it/Ku76DP) was a really interesting article regarding weird and wacky ways to superficially clean your car in a pinch. I don't know too many people who would stoop to using a feminine pad to clean off their windshield, though!

Do you have any unusual tricks when it comes to keeping your vehicle pristine?

I can think of better uses for vodka and cola. I do like the idea of using hair conditioner with lanolin to get a nice shine on the car. May have to try it since I'm washing the car today.

Ha - many better ways to use Coke or Vodka. I don't do anything weird when cleaning my car. I might try some of these but I don't know. You can buy cheap conditioner for the shine.

I have heard about lanolin before I have never tried it honestly. Sometimes I worry that one of the things I read about online is just going to be the wrong thing, or I might mess it up and then it ruins my car.
