Would you ever sue?

If you were in a fender bender with little to no damage would you ever sue for damages, physical or otherwise? I have been in several serious accidents and would never consider it but I am being sued myself for a minor accident.

I think it depends on the situation. If there was considerable damage that wouldn't be covered and it was clearly due to negligence of the other person, it's a possibility. I can't say for sure though.

I would certainly depend on the situation. I can't say that I would not sue - you never know. If I was hurt and they would not cover the bills then yes that would be my only option.

I agree, it depends on the situation. If legal and lawyer fees will cost more than what I can get, then no way. I'm not one that looks to sue people anyways, but if something really stupid happened to me and I had grounds, I would sue and sue hard.

There was no damage to either vehicle and the accident basically consistedof me rolling into the back of his vehicle at less than 5 miles per hour. It happened over a year ago and now he is trying to say he had bodily injuries that prevent him from working. It's just a big scam.

Under those circumstances, no. It sounds to me like he is just trying to get money so he doesn't *have* to work. That sort of person annoys me.

I am just annoyed that he is wasting my time over this frivolous suit. I have to miss work to go to attorney meetings and court dates. I have to deal with phone calls from my insurance company and lawyers. It is a big pain in my butt.

If there were no injuries and no damage I doubt it. If there were both (or one of the two) then yes I would. I want to make sure that I will end up being paid for what needs fixed. Too many people let this slide and then end up paying out of pocket for it, besides when you win they pay court costs.
