    Labor Prices

Ha! Of course the labor prices were insane, you went to the dealership. The labor prices at a dealership have always been triple the amount. I guess you had to learn the hard way, but from now on, never go to the dealership (unless you want to get robbed).

    New VW Bus

Have you guys seen the new VW Bus? What do you guys think of it? I personally think it has a lot of wasted space. The old VW Buses could hold a lot more people and this new one looks big and bulky, but it can only hold the average 5 people (from what I can tell by the pictures). It is pretty...

    Stick or Automatic?

If you lived in the suburbs or in the city, which would you prefer to drive: a stick shift car or an automatic car? I personally would rather drive an automatic because there are so many lights and such. If I lived in the country, then I would pick stick.

    Teaching an adult to drive?

I have never taught an adult how to drive, although I'm sure it can't be any harder than to teach an adolescent how to drive. My suggestion would be to go to an empty parking lot (like at a school on the weekend) and teach her the basics there. She should really be learning how to drive from an...

    Fords

How do you feel about driving a Ford? I'm not talking about the trucks, I'm talking about the hatchbacks and sudans. I have such bad experiences with Fords of this kind and I was wondering if anyone else has had different or the same experiences.

    How much gas?

The quality of gas is very important for your car. I used to only use the cheapest gas, but I noticed that my car wasn't running as well as it used to. Then I switched back to the high grade gas and I noticed that the pick up in my car was so much better. I also noticed that the car drove a lot...

    Family Car

We are looking for a car to fit a bigger family. We want to buy a used car (to save money) and we want one that can hold 2 car seats and maybe a dog on occasion. We don't want a huge gas eating vehicle; we want something with good gas milage. Something that is safe and has many air bags. Any...

    Keyed Car

My car got keyed two weeks after moving into my new apartment one night. A vulgar statement was keyed all across the trunk. It happened to one of my neighbor's car as well (2 parking spots down). Not a clue as who did it and the insurance company would not cover the cost of most of the damage...

    New and Improved Hybrid

There is a new hybrid coming out that promises to be so much better than all the past slower moving hybrids. The 2012 Infiniti M35h is suppose to have a lot more power and drive a lot smoother than all the past hybrids that have been made. Has anyone heard anything bad about this car? I have...

    Cleaning windows at gas station

Does anyone know how often or if gas stations ever clean out that dirty water we use to clean our windows with at gas stations? Is it just me, or does that water always look filthy? :suspicious:

    Hitchhikers?

The only way I would pick up a hitchhiker is if the person seemed completely harmless and if I needed to have someone talk to me so I would stay awake while driving. Most likely though, I would not pick up a hitchhiker. It is so hard to trust people these days.

    Would you detail it?

I wouldn't detail a car I'm selling. You are not going to get more money for detailing a car. If you do get anything for it, it won't cover the cost and time of getting the job done.

    Texting While Driving

I don't text while the car is moving. If I am at a red light that I know takes 4 minutes to change green (I have timed these suckers because certain lights take forever) and I am fully stopped, then I might respond to a text. However, as soon as that light turns green, I put the phone down and...

    Self-parking cars

Hahaha no way would I trust a car to park itself. I can only imagine the headaches insurance companies are going to get when they get calls about a car crashing into another car because the car was parking itself. Who would end up paying for the damage done? It wasn't the driver's fault; it...

Tired of seeing the same old models

I agree. The car companies need to get some imagination when designing cars and I mean some affordable imagination too. I always thought that by the year 2011 there would be some really original futuristic designs of cars. I guess the car companies are just too full of old unoriginal thinking men.

Mistaking the gas for the brake

@ Midnight Tech ... I'm sorry to hear about your loss. That must have been so tragic. I have often heard about elderly people doing this too. When something like that happens, I agree that it is time to take the keys away. Although taking keys away from old people can be really hard...

    Car of the Year

That does look like a nice car, but I would never buy it. I would not want to risk the chance of the battery not working and then have to cough up $10,000! That is just too risky for someone like me who does not make that much money.
