    Rubbing Sound

When I drive my Toyota Tacoma truck at a constant speed, there is a strange "rubbing" sound that's intermittent, so that I'm driving and hearing "rub" "rub" "rub" "rub." Any ideas on what it could be?

    Dog Issue

I'm hoping that he's doing this on the outside, and not somehow getting inside your car to do this! He's probably marking the vehicle as his, and really and truly, it will probably take some effort, a very watchful eye, and some training to get him to stop. You have to catch him in the act of...

    Water Damaged Engine

I don't know as much about the details of this kind of thing and the different problems that can arise, but I know that I got water in my engine during a hurricane once, and was able to get it up and running relatively quickly again with the help of a mechanic friend. I'd say do a little more...

    Ferrari burst into flames

Oh man, what a miserable day for that guy! I wonder how it is he "knew the engine was going to explode"? I also wonder what on earth caused it to happen - what a tragedy for such a nice car!

    Thumping Sound

I know that when my car was knocking in the front, it was the ty-rod, but I'm not so sure if it's the same problem if it's coming from the back. You might need to take it to someone to drive and listen to.

    Fuel pump

That's strange; I had never heard that! I always fill my tank up to the top, let it run down to close to empty, and then refill to the top again. I guess I should be refilling at the quarter tank mark instead?

    Cigarette Smell

I'm being lent a car from a friend for a few weeks while I'm out of town, and it's one she hasn't used in a while, but the smell of her cigarettes in the car is HORRIBLE. I'm sure she wouldn't mind me cleaning it up a bit, and I plan to after I'm done with it to thank her anyway, so does anyone...

Class Action Suit against Mazda Corp

I had no idea that there were so many problems, and I have a friend who is a huge Mazda fan who's going to be dissappointed to hear this. Has it been in the news at all?

    Accidents

I have only had two minor incidents where someone else hit me, knock on wood. One was when someone coming out of a driveway hit me and banged up my door, another was when a passing truck knocked off my sideview mirror.

    Head Rest Media Players

I have a friend who installed something like this. I don't think he did it exactly right, because a lot of the cushion for the headrest was gone when he was done, and I remember it feeling uncomfortable. Hopefully models are improved now!

    Red Wax Candle on Carpet!

Have you already started trying to clean it? I would think that trying to get as much out while it's solidified would be best and then maybe try using a warm washcloth to work as much out as you can before moving to a carpet cleaner.

    Frequency of Brake Pad Change

Every vehicle is different, and it'd be hard to tell if it's just your braking style without having someone ride with you and experience it. Maybe you could ask the people you are buying the brake pads from what they think about the Mazda Genuine brand.

    Removing Tint

Thanks guys! I have a couple of friends who have had to do it already to their own vehicles, and their windows look fine, so I'm going to trust them to help me. (They also said they used WD40 :) )

    Dog Lovers

We usually take him for rides in our Toyota Tacoma, and he either rides in the passenger seat if it's empty or in the back of the cab, but never in the bed of the truck. Luckily he's not a slobbery dog, or I don't think I'd ever let him in any vehicle!

    Loose Decal

The glue that is used to put those decals on tends to dry out and get flaky with sun exposure and other things like that. My suggestion would be to use a razor blade to carefully remove the whole thing, if you don't want a flaking stripe on the car.

    Removing Tint

There are serious tint laws where I live and I now have to remove the tint on the new car that I bought. I started, but already see that the glue that held the tint on is leaving a nasty residue on the window. Any ideas before I continue on how I can remove this stuff?

    Which Is The Safest Vehicle?

So many things factor into safety - the likelihood of the vehicle getting into an accident, the safety of head-on collision vs. a roll vs. a side-hit. Personally, I'd prefer to be in the car for an accident becuase the lighter back weight and rear wheel drive of a truck can make it...

    Premium Gas

...is it really worth the extra bucks? I'll admit, I've never used it, but I'm taking care of a friend's car right now and he left strict instructions to only put in Premium gas. I have to wonder if anyone's noticed it really helping the car in any way.

    Gravel in Brake Pad

Oh wow, that's horrible! I didn't realize that gravel could easily get up in there; I used to park in a gravel parking lot every day for work and never had that problem. :/

    Which Group To Ban?

Where I live, the taxi drivers are the WORST. Unfortunately, they're also not held accountable to any kind of association - each is his or her own business, so there's no number to call and report their dangerous driving. They drive giant vans way too fast on curvy roads trying to move as many...
