I have only locked myself out of both my home and my car once. You would think the first time I would have learned but it took two instead. Seldom will I leave anything in the car other than a pair of sun glasses.

Nine hours would be horrid. I tend to get claustrophobic on road trips even in a large vehicle so trying to do something like that all in one go would make me stir crazy.

I am wondering who actually designs the shopping strips in my area, most turn ins off the main roads are too narrow. Even with a car it tends to be an issue properly pulling into the plaza. Do they not realize people need a little extra room sometimes?

We just got word back that our insurance is not going to pay to fix our car that was given a few "wisdom marks" from a hail storm recently. I thought insurances covered weather like this??

No one would get to school, no one would get to work, emergency staff would be screwed to help someone in need. I see where you are going with this and I am all for saving when you can, but something like this could cripple a country too.

When I was in London we just ended up using our home license and had vacation paperwork, nothing fancy at all. I am sure its different if you plan to relocate though.

The first and only time I got docked was for "Driving more than 10 mph but less than 25 mph above the posted limit" which ended up being 4 points for me. Thankfully it was years ago (almost eons) and they have all dropped off now.

They do a pretty decent job of keeping the highways up to par but some places are still in need of some serious repair. When you get out in the boonies like where I live the roads are not taken too well by those city/gov workers. In the winter its a farmer with a snowplough on his truck instead...

That might depend, what are you thinking of exactly? I know some people that swear by it but few that can back the argument up. Keeping your car clean and in proper function allows it to do its job better. That seems like something everyone should know.
