Are you or will you be effected by the blizzard? I know where I live we already have 3 inches and the snow is still coming down. It's pretty windy too so I hope we don't lose power.

Does your city have a light rail system? They keep saying they are going to get one in our area but it just never happens. I really don't know where they would put it. Also, I would be worried about the crime factor.

I don't wash my car in the winter for two reasons. First, it always ends up raining or snowing right after I wash it. It ends up being wasted money so why wash it? Second, I live on a dirt road and the mud is horrible. I would be at the car wash everyday if I washed my car all the time.

I've never had this problem before but the interior of my car is black and I have water and salt stains on the carpet and on my seats. Is there a way to get rid of that without ruining the carpet or the seats? Is it as simple as using some soap and water or is there something else I need to do?

This isn't about my car but my moms. I got into her car the other day and it has really strong fumes in it. It doesn't smell like gas but like exhaust. I can't tell where it is coming from. How can I tell where the smell is coming from and has anyone heard of this before?

I'm with Tabby. My car has a radio/cd/tape deck that was standard with the car. I don't really use the tape deck because unless you kept the tapes from growing up, you can't find any.

How would one go about getting that annoying maintenance required light turned off? I've had my car serviced and they ran the engine check but the light is still on. I think they forgot to reset it when they did service on it. Is there any way I can turn it off?

First, are you sure it's coming from the back and not the front? Have you checked your brakes and rotors? The last time my car made that noise when turning it was the rotors. It could also possibly be a spring that has snapped or that has come detached. Your best bet is to have your car serviced...

I would think that if you are looking for a car and not an SUV, a mid size front wheel drive car would work best in the snow. The tires are able to grip and pull rather than having the back of the car, which is lighter than the front, push your car forward. If you don't watch your speed though...
