IMSA GT3 Clinched by a 15 year old driver who can't leaglly drive yet

This weekend, Madison Snow clinched the 2011 IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge at the series’ stop at Laguna Seca. At first this would sound like just another champion driver winning their series until you find out that Madison isn’t even old enough to legally drive. He’s 15. So how does a kid who...

    Transporting alcohol in a car

Not sure to be honest. I just make sure to keep it out of reach. Open containers go in the trunk if I have one, or in the back seat floor on the passenger side.

    Rain-X

Rain X is basically a silicone oil suspended in an alcohol carrier solvent. It will strip any wax you have on the paint. It will protect your paint, but for a few days at most. And then you would be left without anything on it. I personally would not use it. I used it when it first came...

    Oil change frequency

If you use synthetic you can go above the 3000 mile recommended change. A lot of new cars could go 5k with synthetic. Toyota's Tundra says it can go 10k between changes. I wouldn't go that far though.

Where were you on 9/11 of 2001?

I was working in my office cubical repairing computers when a regular came in and told us that a plane hit the tower. Tried getting onto the news websites, but they were to slow to load if at all. Was not until lunch when I went to my friends shop I actually saw anything on TV.

    Pet Peeves

I am doing my best not to let tailgaters bother me anymore. Those who ride their brakes are still get to me. I've seen more then my share of people stopping in the middle lane at an intersection to make a turn. Or stopping in the left lane and waiting until the turning lane starts to move to...

    Car memories

My first car was a 1980 Toyota Corolla SR5 Hatchback. Fond memories? Break pads catching on fire. Trying to fix a leaking gas tank. Muffler falling off going over speed bump, and no I was not going that fast. Having someone push the car so I could jump it. But I also remember things like...

Would you consider a car share?

I've heard of this before. Someone was just recently talking about it. I forget the name, zip car or something like that. But I guess the vehicles were owned by a company, and you just rented time from my understanding. There was no personal cars involved.

    Any cooks here?

Not sure about Ravioli. But my wife makes perogies and she freezes them before she cooks them. She said it is so if she deep fries them they turn out crispier then if she did not freeze them.

    Insurance refund

It would be great, but I doubt it would happen. Sort of like me getting a refund for the Social Security I'll never see. We pay for those that do use it. Alstate does send me a small refund each 6 months. Usually around $40-$50 plus I have the vanishing deductible. It should be down to 0 now.

    Exercise

Yard work if that counts. But I try to swim, and get on the treadmill. I go for hikes and kayak when I can get the time. I wish I could afford a small home gym.

    For cars or storage?

The garage at our house now is a smaller garage. There is maybe 3 or 4 inches between door and the wall. So you could get the car in, but opening the door is another problem.

Do you drive with two hands?

You get a better grip if you do not wrap your thumb around the wheel. Take a pencil and grab it with your thumb wrapped around it and try and pull it out. It should be easy. Now do it again but put your thumb out so it is pressing down on the pencil. Should be harder to get that same pencil...

Selling a parking spot in your driveway

I would think long and hard about it. But knowing my luck, if I could sell a parking spot, something would happen and I would be getting sued.
