I haven't done it in a while, but try to do it twice a year. My truck needs it really bad.

    Mark you oil filter!

I've talked to some mechanics that say they do that. Some people will come in every three months no matter if they drove 300 miles or 3000. Still think it is wrong either way.

Do you leave valuables in your car?

The wife leaves the GPS in hers. I have an iPod that plays through my stereo. But you have to take out the center console to get to it.

    Max of 2

I would love to be able to afford more then two one day. My truck I'm keeping until it dies. But the wifes vehicle we may need to change up depending on the child situation. But we plan on changing hers up when we get that far anyway. But then I would love a Karmann Ghia. Something for...

Talk to me about gas mileage

Not sure about Yamaha, but I know Harley's require premium gas. I think my dad says he gets 40-50 mpg. When he first started riding he would get change from a $10 to fill up. Now it is over $20 to fill up. Motorcycles also require more maintenance, which is something to consider.

How often do you stop on road trips?

I grew up with only stopping for gas. Usually around a 20 hour trip, although on the way back home, we may stop overnight. Not very often we would stop overnight though.

    What do you have?

Changed the stereo system, added running boards, changed the grill (had to cut out the old one), bed cover, and got the bed Rhino'd. Just checked Volant and they seem to finally made a Cold Air Intake for my truck, which means that and duel exhaust would be next.

    Off-roading?

Some of the roads here are pretty much off roading. Stock Tundra height and some roads the bottom is hitting the dirt. But I have not taken it truly off road just yet, unless you want to count cutting through brush on friends property.

    Running Boards

I bought some for my truck. At first I bought some cheap ones off of ebay. Tons of problems with the fit, and I found them to be a thinner metal. I ended up getting some Westin's from www.AutoAnything.com and found them to be built better. If you can, try going to the local truck place and...

Sitting at home with family, and having a beer. That is about it. You don't have to buy me anything, just let me relax.

    Car washes

Never seen anything bad. A few get broken into here and there to steal the money in the change machine, but that is about it.

    Speaking of gas....

I've been doing my best to teach the wife this. Fill up at 1/4 a tank, not when the light comes on. She still does not listen.

    Hi!

Greetings and salutations. Feel free to ask around. If you know how to change a tire, you are leap years ahead of my wife. ;)

    Car shortage

I do not see many people being able to afford new cars today. But then again, some people will always want a new car.

    7,500 miles

Tundra's and a few other Toyota's are getting 10k between oil changes. Full synthetic. 7.5k is not too bad if you are using full synthetic. I stick to 5-6k with full synthetic.
