Is your child in a booster?

Our daughter uses a booster and she is three. Only a few times have I let her ride in the vehicle without being in a booster. And that was taking a single street through the neighborhood for maybe two minutes, about 15 houses away. Usually it is because she got sick in the seat and it wasn't...

    Car Thieves - new methods

I've been reading more reports of people taking the catalytic converter off with a saw and then scrapping it for money. They get around $100 for one and it takes about 10-15 minutes to cut one out of some vehicles. I'll try and find the report.

Ouch. Good thing you only got a warning. It was nice before I got my truck as both vehicles were done at once. Now they make me do my truck in December.

    Not wax but sealant

Clear coat is a bit different. Clear coat as most people think of it on modern cars is a layer of clear resin applied over the top of colored resin. It does protect the base coat, but it does need regular maintenance to keep it in top shape.

    Do you really like driving?

Depends on traffic. I love to drive on back roads with little or no traffic. Its going into the populated areas/cities that drive me crazy.

    The Royal Wedding

Did not watch it, so I couldn't comment. Weddings are not my thing. After dealing with the latest Bridezilla, I think I'm done being in them.

Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed in a firefight with U.S. forces in Pakistan on Sunday, President Barack Obama announced, ending a nearly 10-year worldwide hunt for the mastermind of the September 11 attacks. "Justice has been done," Obama said in a hastily called, late-night White...

    Your mileage

Use was my main concern. My v8 truck gets close to the same gas as my v6 mustang. Maybe better depending on how I drive it.

Where did the money come from?

I had to get a job and buy my own. Took me a few months to get a cheap vehicle that fell apart easily.

    Backing up with a trailer

Practice practice practice. You have to remember everything is opposite. It takes some work to train your mind how to turn the wheel opposite you would when driving. I would practice in someones yard backing up and pulling out, sort of like practicing driving.

    Damn

I had to get mine checked when I did a change of address. Always worries me that I will not pass. My family has a history of eye glasses, and I have no vision insurance.

    Not wax but sealant

A wax is a naturally made, it may not last as long as a sealant but gives it a deeper shine. A good sealant will last about twice as long or longer then a good wax. Sealants are made up in a lab.

    CDs in the car

I used to enjoy drives to no where. Cannot do that anymore with gas prices. I would do it again if it went back under a dollar a gallon. Plus the wife gets car sick.
