Sorry to hear about your husband's aunt. Last year, my Dad was declining in health. He really didn't feel good at all. This year, he's not with us except in spirit. It's been hard.

One of the most festive car smells I ever ended up with was with I brought a small rosemary bush home. It was shaped like a Christmas tree and had bows on it. It rubbed against one of the seats. It smelled really nice for about a week.

Well, I am officially ready for the holidays to be over. I don't think one single thing has gone right since Thanksgiving. I wish we could hibernate like bears and wake up in the spring.

I've been trying to avoid the places that have crazy parking lots, but I guess I will soon have to face it. The thing I always hate is when someone takes a spot they know you were already waiting on.

I guess we will probably get ours either mid-week or this coming weekend. We have a heat pump and it really dries the tree out, so we usually don't put it up until about a week before Christmas.

I don't think we have ever tried to file it under insurance. The last time it happened, we called a guy that repairs the glass instead of replacing it. I don't remember how much it cost, but we've never had any problems from it.

I have never heard of this. It usually doesn't get cold enough here to freeze the locks, but it is a good tip to know about and I will pass it on.

Well, today I saw one car with a wreath on the front and another car with reindeer antlers. Glad to know that I am not the only one who finds decorating the car for Christmas kind of strange.

Does anyone go all out and decorate your vehicle for Christmas? Someone around here has a bunch of lights on their SUV. You can see it coming from miles away.

It has not only been dry here, but it has been warm too. Very strange weather for December. I'm not complaining though, it really feels nice outside.

I listen to different types of music depending on what I'm doing and my mood. I like new age music when I'm working and Jazz when I'm painting or just hanging out. Secret Garden's "Sometimes When It Rains" is one of my new age favorites.

If you had won the lottery last night and took the "Cash Option," you would have had about $325 million all at one. I would certainly quit my job if I got that kind of money! I would put it into some kind of account where it would draw interest and live off of that.

I have never had heated seats in any of my vehicles. Does the warmth from them ever make you sleepy? I usually get sleepy when I get warm.

What would you do if you won the lottery? I always find it interesting when people say they would give a lot of the money away. I know of so many charities that misuse the money they receive. I would really have to think about who I would want to give a large sum of money to before I donated it.

I think it is pretty hard to hot wire the newer cars. They have all kinds of security features on them now. I did have a friend that had to hot wire her car for a while, but it was because the key had gotten stuck and broke off in the ignition switch.

We see a lot of double parking like that when we go to the mall. We have also been seeing a lot of people using the handicap spots. I always wonder what kind of bad karma the person picks up when they do that.

Has anyone seen the new James Bond movie yet? We finally got to see it this past Friday. The old style Aston Martin makes an appearance. I don't know if it was the one used in one of the other movies or not, but it sure looked like it.

I agree with everyone that junk yards are the way to go. If you can't find what you are looking for, however, I would suggest trying eBay.

I love Christmas music, but not before Thanksgiving. They were playing it in the grocery store tonight when I ran in to get some stuff. Way too early.
