Had lots of wet, heavy snow last week, and didn't have a scraper/brush, so my wipers got a work out. The next day the wipers wouldn't come on. I think I blew the fuse. If I did, what would the fuse look like?
In the first nine months of 2010 Ford earned the most it's earned in the first nine months of any year since 1998. I think that's impressive! I wonder why that's not being talked up in the news??
88 per cent of car dealers are planning to offer a special online deal the Monday after Thanksgiving! I'll be interested to surf the sites of my local dealers just to see what's what....
There are quite few colors that would probably be good with the gold. What color is the interior? Choose a pinstripe color that compliments the overall color scheme of the vehicle.
I hate to say it but I think the best way to improve auto performance is to improve driver performance. It's good to take stock of your driving habits periodically.
The Nissan Leaf was recently selected as the European Car Of The Year. It was selected over forty other models. That's not just GREEN cars---that's a whole mix of cars. Stealing the Volt's thunder??
I'm not really worried about it because it's to be expected with all the emphasis and hype about "getting stuff" this time of year. I will be more vigilant about keeping things locked up, where I park, etc.
You can buy tires that are pre-siped or you can have them siped after you purchase un-siped tires. It's best to take them where you bought them to have it done by their machine so as to not void the warranty.
Any of the tire dealers can do it and lots of car service places too. It's only like $4 a tire to convert. It's free nitrogen for life from the place I had my conversion done. I've never needed any though.
There's a tire store here in town that is advertising a tire siping service. I guess it involves putting these grooves in your tires to give you better traction? Does it work or is it hype?
For the most part I agree. However, I think the Chevy Equinox is better looking than most. It's got good stats too---32mpg and it's a "Top Safety Pick" by Consumer Reports.
I second that motion---sounds like a bad thermostat. In my experience, there's no real warning signs. One day you go out, turn the heater on, and just a blast of cold.
Since I started using RainX car wash solution on my vehicles, I don't even see the need to wax anymore. A bottle of it goes really far too, so I think it's pretty inexpensive for what you get.
I love to drive a manual transmission car or pickup truck. I just feel like I stay more in tune with the road, driving conditions and my vehicle. Any manual transmission fans out there?
I would love to have a motorcycle, but my wife is dead set against them. Says there's only two kinds of motorcycle riders; those who have had their accident, and those who are going to......
From what I understand, bio-diesel works in any diesel engine, no engine conversion required. During WWII, the Germans were cut off from foreign fuel suppliers so they made their own bio-diesel and fuel all their tanks with it.
This fixer upper I have in my garage seems to have some timing issues. It was owned by someone who blew off preventive maintenance, so I'm sure the timing belt was never replaced. How tricky is it to do it yourself??
I myself prefer to be pretty much incognito. The only exception is if I had my own business or something like that. Then I would have a snazzy decal made for the sake of advertising my stuff.
