When you are on the road for an extended trip, do you ever stop at designated rest areas? Do you trust these spots when you're alone or with your family?
It's amazing how many recalls there are these days, but I think it's a smart idea. In the end, it saves money and more importantly, it could save lives.
I haven't even heard of this stuff that you are talking about. What's the concept? Spray it on and instant repair, or something like that? You have me curious now so I'm eager to learn more about it.
This is so disgusting. I just heard it on the news, another pet poisoned downtown. Someone is out there killing pets. What kind of sick person would get their jollies by doing this? They should be poisoned; that's how I feel about it.
I wish I had him to help me! I am not good at describing much of anything and never have been. Description is not part of my genes. I do my best, but I sound like an idiot, too.
Eww, a mouse. Fortunately, I've never had that one. Maps, lots of maps in mine; Kleenex (never have a trash bag when I want one); and an emergency flashlight. Pretty dull, eh?
I got one in Nevada, out in the middle of nowhere. They set folks up for that one. It's a famous stretch. Yes, I was speeding. Was anyone really at risk? Nope, especially since I was the only on the road beside the hiding cop.
I love good sound in my car like the next person, but in making cars mini-hotel rooms, are we also making driving them more dangerous? This last thing about making videoconferencing a possible just pushes it over the line in my book.
California governor Jerry Brown just put out his new budget and he wants to cut the car fleet and the phone fleet. I say heck yes! Why do we have to pay for cell phones for half of the state workers here? And the cars? No.
Time for a change!
I'm not in that part of the state, but those icy roads cause havoc everywhere. We had a wreck yesterday morning because of ice on the road. Don't drive unless you have to when the roads are like that.
I have a hard time with it myself. However, years ago, before the internet when cost was more hidden, I had 'the know' on pricing and really got the better of one salesman. That was fun.
You need to find out if it's just him not paying attention or if he has a problem. These could be early warning signs. I would definitely talk to him and if appropriate, a physician.
I haven't seen a reckless ambulance driver myself, but I don't doubt that there are some out there. I've heard stories about some emergency vehicle situations in the past.
It's really amazing but General Motors is teaming up with Verizon and the end results could be videoconferences while you drive. I'm not sure that's a safe idea. They've apparently outfitted a Buick LaCrosse with it to show off at the big show in Las Vegas.
How much do you rely on cruise control when you drive? It's odd because I used to use it a lot and I realized recently that I'd stopped. I really don't know why, either.
Like Speedo, the moment I had a car and insurance, I also had AAA. They are responsive and proven. I can't imagine not having them. They've come to my home for dead batteries, flat tires, etc., and on the road for all kinds of reasons.
If I don't wash mine, winter, spring, summer, or fall, it ends up dirtier than it would be from letting it sit. I usually let it do its thing until I can't stand it anymore and then I clean it.
As a general rule of thumb, I drive either at the speed limit or up to 5 miles over it. Weather and location factor in. Kids and dogs will always have me going slower.
Nope. I think it is ultimately a very bad idea to let anyone else use your car. It creates a risk that I just don't want in my life. I don't borrow cars nor do I lend mine out.
I have never heard about claying before and find it to be very intriguing. I am not sure if I am going to try it out or not, but I am glad that the information was provided here for me to consider.
