Recently I decided to ban all food and drink in my car. I was tired of the smells from fast food snacks and the spills from soda cups. Plain water is fine of course. My friends are still complaining but I am going to stick with it.

If you mean regular stops, equipped with diners or service stations then I have no issues stopping at them. I would be less inclined to bother if it was just a restroom standing alone.

I think it differs between states but common sense should tell people not to let kids sit in a front seat unless the usual seatbelt is a good fit for them.

When I was a kid we had a dog that sat on the seat of our car! It was really dangerous I guess, so if I got another one now I would try a dog seatbelt. Crating seems drastic but maybe good for small animal transport.

What a con! I hope you complained! I bet there's no law against what they did but that's no excuse at all. It's good to hear your car will be okay at least.

First off I would never ride with someone who doesn't have experience of carrying a passenger! (Yeah I know that means they have to practice on someone else!) There are many things you need to know/talk to the rider about.

Good point! It won't be very long before people are sleeping and working from their cars at this rate! Personally I'd like to see more legislation which would steer a car back to being a mode of transport (pun intended).

Avoiding aerosols on the interior and using only as much soap as you need are two easy ways to be greener. I have no idea about special products in this area but there must be some.

I had to laugh when my friend told me she treats her car like her hair! In other words she changes out the shampoo every few washes, even though there is no logical reason for this to make a difference.

Personally I find that eating in a rush leaves me feeling unsatisfied, though it's fine once in a while. At least she's not driving. I had a nightmare experience when a friend tried to eat an icecream at the same time!

I can't imagine why anyone would even want to ride a bike (of any kind) without a helmet. Having said that, many people forget to protect the rest of their body very well.
