I think it would depend on the car, in truth.... I refuse to own a Maserati, as an example, and would adore an old Diablo. I'd rather a castle to live in and drive a beater, though. :)

Spot bots are little spot-cleaning carpet cleaners, and I LOVE mine for doing the carpets in the car and the van. I don't pay to take my van to a detail place anymore, me and the kids make some of it in the front yard instead.

Like Donald, I was horribly irresponsible as a 20-something when it came to booze and driving.... but understand, that's also 25 years ago now, and the laws and such were far different than they are today (and I lived in a very rural setting). My cousin was killed by a drunk driver, 3 days...

BAIT CARS are making a huge difference where I live. They are cars that have hidden cameras and a 'kill switch' in them. The thief is able to steal the car, sure, but a few minutes later, the engine dies and the care locks itself.... and the cops show up to ask you a few questions...

It's almost a rite of passage, in Canada.... we've made backyard rinks for our kids for generations (yes, I know how!!), the boys all played hockey (and some still do, past 60). That entire town was hockey fans. Get a debate going about the Leafs and the Habs and it could bet really colorful!

It's playoff time, and unless there's a team from your hometown, it seems few are paying attention to the Cup Playoffs. Is it just me, or are fans hockeyed-out?

There's a law where I live, boosters til age 9 or a height of 4'9", whichever comes first. When the kid is 8, 70 lbs, and 4'7".... it's a tight fit!

Gas prices in Canada have increased almost 50% in the last 3 years.... and that's bulls**t.

Using that math, it would cost over $100.00 to fill my van. Like I said, I think I need to find my bicycle helmet. As it is, I'm already "combining" errands and such to try and cut down on the amount of driving that I do.

Between the house vaccuum & a cordless dust-buster, I've never found the need for such a thing.... I also don't know where I'd store it between uses.

Grrrr.... My only hope in such cases is that the perpetrator(s) be in receipt of a similar incident and thus know how it feels to be so victimized, and what JERKS they were in the first place.

Bring back the crossing guards, and put a camera up over the crosswalks: pics of the ones that do it WRONG get put on a loop-feed on television. Bet that'd stop folks from stepping out when they shouldn't ! HAHAHHA
