That's interesting Angelinus. These shops have really evolved a lot. Before, all they ever thought about was to fix your car and leave you while they're at it. We didn't mind before, because that's what we wanted them to do anyway.
Jason, Harley would lose out if they stop doing it, I think...
I don't go dirt biking myself but there's a place nearby where dirt bikers race. It's a totally rugged terrain across rivers and through steep slopes. The bikes that I see there are 2-stroke ones. Kawasaki and Honda are two of the common brands.
Phones today allow phones to transmit via FM frequency the sound from the phone to the car speaker system. That frees up your hands to engage in conversation. But does this make any difference to car driving safety?
What do you think?
Well, this really depends on your location. If it's just a few kilometers from the office (say, 5-10 minutes on the road), a motorcycle may be good. Beyond that, I won't recommend.
Hi Guy! I presume you can open it from the inside. They took out the lock from the outside as a security feature. But I don't see a lot of these kinds of cars. May I know the brand and model of the car that you are referring to?
Hi Guy! It's definitely a great option for trucks, I agree. But if it were on a truck, I think the video would be much better appreciated at the back where drivers lie down to rest.
How old is your brother? It sounds like he has a taste for Mustang himself. Mustang already has a muscular look. Adding two more exhaust pipe would make your Mustang look really ferocious.
But yeah, I agree with you there's really no need for it. To me, it would just enhance the look. In...
I was a new face to this shop. I was from a different city after all. I just wanted a quick tire change. I bought two.
While I waited I was seated in front of a coffee table with free coffee on top of it. I was handed a newspaper. Then if I preferred, I could switch the TV channel anywhere I...
Hi Angelinus, that's my understanding. It is disabled when the engine is running. It's enabled only when it's parked. So, when the traffic is not moving, you must stop the engine in order to enable it. That's a safety feature, of course.
It takes a special skill to drive in snow. But I also realize that some of us may simply be presented with a situation when you have to drive in snow, God forbid.
I found a site that gives great advice on this situation...
If you have a hired driver, that guy is the most fortunate beneficiary of this technological feature. It's not a bad idea to have something to watch while you're stuck in traffic, isn't it? The question is, would you pay extra for it? Hahaha. That's the killer question, I think.
I agree there's a shift somewhere, but I still think it's more of a buyer's market. This is not to say the dealers will immediately give in. You still have to negotiate well, but know that their position isn't as strong.
Great advice indeed. I like the part about jumper cables, gassing up and fully charging the batteries. I cannot even begin to describe the great deal of peace of mind that having all those three would give you when you are in the middle of a snow storm with zero visibility.
I happen to be someone who would rather drive in rain than in snow. Come on, the traction in snow is simply frightening. With rain your wheels still got a good hold of the road.
This is a cool feature. SUVs are prone to roll-overs (God forbid) and I believe the Electronic Stability Control would minimize such kind of accidents.
I was shocked to read that Ford is making its touch screen in front of the driver video capable. They actually seem to giggle that drivers can now watch videos! Well, they quickly qualified their statement saying that the video option is available only when the car is parked. Now that I think is...
Exactly HondaMan. You know what, there wasn't even grass to speak of beyond the shoulder. There was a service road after the shoulder. So, you can see how thankful I am today that everything went well in those moments.
Check this out folks!

I am absolutely intrigued by this design. I think I would want that kind of door for my SUV! Imagine the freedom to move in and out of that car during a picnic or camp out. Wow!
I always have with me a plastic container full of peanuts. I don't know if this works for you. But I always stay awake eating peanuts ever since I learned this trick while studying all night in college.
