Under those circumstances, no. It sounds to me like he is just trying to get money so he doesn't *have* to work. That sort of person annoys me.

Ok, so there's a pulley in the engine that holds the belt and all that. The two bolts that held that in place BROKE the other day. The other end of the bolts are still stuck in the engine block! This is really frustrating!

I've never actually sold a car, so I couldn't say. Our cars either fall apart and end up in the junkyard, or else we end up giving them away. Hope you can find help, here!

If I had one, it would be converted to living space. Our house just isn't really big enough for the quantity of people in it. Part of it would probably be storage, also, but mostly it would be more room.

Where I live, it is now illegal to stop for funeral processions (except at intersections, of course, but they usually have police officers out there to direct traffic).

I can see where hot beverages could be an issue, but a cup of water or pop (with a lid and straw) is unlikely to cause problems for a driver sipping, in my opinion.

If it will add $1,000+ to the price of the car, that's ridiculous and not worth it. The GPS units available now are easy to install (usually suction cups or something that attaches to a vent) and a WHOLE LOT cheaper! Plus the portability that philio mentioned - useful if you have more than one...

Is it difficult to find a used vehicle with a manual transmission? (I have to keep reminding myself it's *manual* now and not *standard*!) My son would like to get one, but in this area, at least, they seem to be few and far between.

Yeah, that's true. I didn't think about the premium going up. I guess if it was just a couple dents that I wouldn't bother reporting it or filing a claim.

I was taught to check my mirrors regularly, so that is a habit of mine. My spouse rarely uses mirrors and it drives me crazy! I also turn around to check when changing lanes.

If one of my cars were to have a collision with another of my cars, how would insurance handle that? It hasn't happened, but I got wondering the other day when I was driving down a street that was half blocked, and when I got around, the first car coming the other way was my spouse.

HANG, but what if one is eating WHILE listening to music? LOL I definitely am against TEXTING while driving, because your whole attention is on the phone, but talking is not much different from talking to someone sitting in the car with you.

I usually use 10w30, but for a long time I used straight 30. I didn't really notice any performance changes when I changed from one to the other.

Febreze is good stuff. In general, I don't care for scents. I'm allergic to a lot of them, so I just prefer *clean* (which is hard enough to accomplish, for sure)!
